Beautiful barn stay. 10 out of 10. Positive: The Forge is a beautifully furnished barn conversion. It was very spacious and wonderfully furnished. We used the double sofa bed and it was really comfortable. Hugh cinema style TV in living area. Parking off the road in front of the barn. We had a wheelchair user, and other than the stoney driveway to deal with, which wasn't really a problem, it was easy to get around the property. The bedroom is upstairs so won't be good for anyone who can't climb stairs. But the sofabed is comfortable. The courtyard garden with the hot tub is a little slice of heaven. It was very peaceful and a great place to read a book or sip some wine. We were left wonderful fluffy towels for our stay, 1 set for bathing and separate towels for the hot tub. Felt like a little spa retreat. Kitchen was well furnished and had a lovely coffee machine. Plenty of plates, glasses and cutlery. Large fridge freezer. Sarah was very good with communication and also left us a lovely bottle of prosecco and some chocolates to start our holiday. Thank you. Negative: There was nothing not to like.

If you need a nice relaxing getaway even for a night this is the place to go. Positive: Everything was perfect from the moment you walk into the Forge Barn you are just filled with happiness. Negative: There isn’t anything not to like about this lovely abode.

A great short break in the New Forest Positive: Fabulous spacious accommodation with a private garden and use of a large hot-tub. The property was very well equipped and had everything needed for a short break. Great communication from our host, who provided a bottle of sparkling wine on arrival. Only a short walk to the sea front and close to attractive Lymington town centre.

A perfect short break Positive: Communication with Sarah was excellent throughout. The barn is very comfortable, clean and spacious. There are lots of thoughtful touches. We enjoyed the hot tub, which was ready for use on our arrival. The barn is well situated for the coast and countryside, including the New Forest. We were looking for a restful, relaxing break and the barn provided exactly that. Negative: No complaints.

Perfect! Could not have wished for a nicer stay! Positive: The barn itself was perfect! It had every amenity I could wish for, it was clean, beautifully decorated and furnished, there was even milk waiting for me in the fridge. The garden is a lovely space to relax too! Sitting in the hot tub with the fairy lights twinkling in the dark was brilliant. Negative: The hosts could have done nothing more to make my stay better. They have thought of everything. Their hard work is clear to see and Sarah even sent me a courtesy message to make sure I had settled in ok.

Positive: The Forge Barn From the moment we arrived at The Forge Barn we knew we’d found somewhere special. The location is superb — tucked away, peaceful but just a short drive from both the coast and the New Forest. Inside the barn is beautifully finished: modern décor combined with comfort and thoughtfulness. The space felt immaculate and very well appointed. One of the standout features for us was the hot tub in the garden — it was the perfect way to unwind after exploring. What also impressed us was how well-equipped the accommodation is: a full kitchen, comfortable bed, and plenty of relaxing living space. The owners’ readiness and communication were great too — everything was clearly laid out and easy to follow. If I had to pick a very minor point, I’d say the site can pick up some outside-noise (cars/gravel movement) in early morning, but this did not detract from our overall enjoyment. All told, The Forge Barn is a top-class stay. Clean, comfortable, great amenities, and a location that gives you both countryside calm and easy access to the coast. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back. Negative: ...What you read ahead..don't let it detract you, it's STILL 5/5 star 🌟 The host was EXCEPTIONALLY attentive.. we specifically booked this stay as a romantic plus joint birthday get away. Thought we'd arrive to romantically lit lamps, birthday banners and prosecco but there wasn't any. HOWEVER, I messaged the host about this and within LITERALLY a couple of minutes there was a bottle of Prosecco by the gate. The host was extremely apologetic and went above and BEYOND. If that isn't service, then what is?? We'd have liked the hot tub to be a higher temperature but still enjoyed it, we enquired about this and AGAIN..within minutes had a response with instructions etc. The overall questionnaire asks "what didn't you like?" Well nothing tbh. It's DEFINITELY value for money. Absolutely impeccable 👌 👏. We'll 100% be back again. Thank you to the hosts for such a beautiful accommodation. Perfect Cottage Positive: Location is amazing, 5 mins drive from the coastal path/beach, and about 10-15 mins drive from the new forest. The hot tub was amazing, really nice outdoor garden space, and inside was just as amazing. Decor is really modern, good amenities. The bed is really comfy and there's a TV that comes out of it which is nice. Negative: The only negative I could struggle to think of is you can everything that's happening outside. Lorries, cars, people walking on the gravel, talking from next door.

Great location and a very spacious and comfortable accommodation Positive: The owner is easy to contact an extremely helpful. The lady very kindly organised a some croissants, bread, butter and jam for a quick breakfast before checking out Negative: A single bed, rather than sofa bed would be added positive.
