Average, wouldn’t stay here again. Positive: Location was perfect, we were taking our daughter to Peppa Pig World, which was roughly 15 mins away. Also great little estate with a park two mins walk from the property, shops 5 min drive. Perfect for what we needed. Negative: I felt the property was grubby, stained bedding, carpets not clean, marked walls, throws on the sofas were disgusting, fusty smell in the lounge. The only rooms that seemed properly clean were the bathrooms. I also didn’t like how you’re paying for the use of the full house yet they want to charge you if you used any extra bedrooms? Therefore £600/£700 for a grubby 2 bed house seems very steep to me.

In the mid 1990s my parents moved from the busy outskirts of London to a peaceful Southampton. A whole lot of years later, inclusive of my parents divorce & once I met my wife, the one place I always wanted to show her was Southampton & the county of Hampshire. A whole lot of years later than that, we have kids of our own & so what was an annual pilgrimage, has turned into deal spotting, for either a nice hotel, bed & breakfast or caravan park. Our visits often take in many areas of the New Forest, many of the surrounding picturesque towns & villages & also the beaches. This visit though I needed something different, our visit was to coincide with a classic motorcycle show, & car event being held at the Beaulieu Motor Museum & so none of those places listed provide secure parking. I needed to be able to prep the car, away from bikes, balls, sticky fingers, opening car doors, trolleys etc etc & in a last minute decision we were offered an airBnB. Of all the places, this one is located on the outskirts of Nursling & to be honest I cannot believe I haven’t thought of this before. The house is a new build with a huge private driveway, secure rear garden with hot tub & the all important outside tap with a hose. There is a local park & gravel public right of way that leads you to two local pub / restaurants via some quiet little through routes, a few shops & past an amazing little church. The house has 4 bedrooms all of which have large tv screens, 3 with double beds & 1 with two single beds. An en-suite & upstairs bathroom, as well as a downstairs bathroom, office, living room & combined kitchen dinning room. Being a new build, the decoration is fresh, with an airy feel to it, it’s clean & tidy & well furnished, with a musical theme throughout. Excluding the main furniture, you have supplied cutlery, crockery, towels, bedding, cooking utensils & pots & pans. There are games, colouring sets & a large hifi. It’s a nice place to be, & something we noticed this time, more so than on any of our other visits, was when we stay at other places, we remain local, almost like a captive audience. On this occasion however we found we ventured out further, we see more areas, took in more sites & saved money by not being charged champagne & caviar prices for what many places, is a chips & brown ale service. The kids got to use the hot tub & the local park whilst I prepped the car, i was relaxed & it saved getting stuck in traffic on the morning of the show &arguing with my wife. When I got to the show, I got to look round rather than cleaning the car in anger & see the other exhibits. As sad as this might make me sound, my advice for anyone with a passion for cars & bikes should almost certainly do the same thing. The local roads are restricted with a 20mph limit, giving peace of mind, the locals are a private bunch so no half bred kids driving their Dagenham dustbins with oversized exhausts. You don’t need to carry all your personal belongings, it’s basically home from home & we will almost certainly be returning, not only for the show next year (weather permitting) but also to stay in one of the other properties offered. A huge thanks to all involved.

Positive: Prefer not to say. They piss me off after I check out. The hotel try to find excuse to hold my ￡200 deposit. Negative: BE WARE OF THIS HOTEL!!! They will try to scam you. Could not open the door when I check in. Luckily the door didn't get locked. Door can be open when push down the door handle. After I check out. Key been returned to the keybox.The passcode changed after I put the key back. Make sure no one can open it. Twi hours later.They message me that the key missing.The have to hold the ￡200 deposit and change the lock. I'm genius 3 member of booking.com. This is the first time happened to me since I use booking.com app which is been more than 10 years . DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.

Fantastic Positive: Oh my God, this is a fantastic home, very clean, tidy, bed are comfortable and nice linen! We were there for a friend hen do wich was fantastic. Comfortable stay at a quiet environment Positive: Spacious, new and very clean property. TV is installed in the sitting room and each room. We also enjoy our stay. We had a tight schedule and didn’t have time to enjoy the hot tub which was said to be very good. Negative: Shampoo and conditioner are missing.

Peppa pig world with the family. Great weekendaway Positive: Lovely lay out of the property. Hand soap was a great touch. We even looked it up on google to purchase it was that nice. Clean with all the facilities we needed as a family.

Lovely business stay Positive: The property had plenty of space for everyone to have their own bedroom and privacy. Well decorated and appointed. Negative: More towels should have been allocated. We did not use the hot tub as we only had 1 bath towel per person. We also did not wash our hair as not enough towels. One hand towel per bathroom is also not enough from my perspective and a hygiene perspective if more than 1 person must share a bathroom. The beds were squeaky but mattresses comfortable.

Family New Year Get Together Positive: The location to the North of Southampton suited our needs as we travelled to Portsmouth for a football match on New Years Day. However the main point of the weekend was to see in the new year as a family and this spacious modern home suited our needs perfectly. It was warm and very comfortable and everyone enjoyed a session in the hot tub. A very enjoyable experience. Negative: There was nothing to dislike - the house was clean, safe and well equipped.

Perfect getaway. Positive: Comfortable and modern house, all mod cons. Hot tub was the icing on the cake on Christmas day. Would definitely stay again.

Very comfortable stay Positive: Very clean and well equipped in a quiet area. Stayed with my mum and grandmother with no issue. We had a comfortable couple of days, fans were a welcome provision due to the heat wave. Unfortunately it was too hot for us to use the hot tub but the set up in the garden was lovely none the less. Very much enjoyed our trip. Granny and Mum approved! Negative: Everything was catered for.

Quiet location Positive: Lovely house, in a quiet residential area. Negative: Its a new estate, my car satnav couldn't find it, I changed to Google maps and was fine.

Wish we had booked to stay for longer! Positive: A very spacious, comfortable and quiet house with a lovely musical theme throughout. The house had good facilities with the added bonus of the hot tub. Negative: A really small thing - but a washing line (or clothes horse) to help dry the swimming towels and costumes would have been really helpful.

Positive: Good space inside and what we needed for two nights. Negative: When we arrived the house had not been cleaned from the previous occupiers. It was stressful then trying to get through to someone as the number given is for a letting agency who did not know the property initially. Thankfully we managed to get the house cleaned around 2 hours after arriving.

Brilliant space and great value compared to being in a hotel. Positive: The space was used well, and styled like it felt like a themed massive hotel space. The TVs in the rooms were a good size and everything was brilliant. Negative: I’m not sure how fresh the hot-tub water was as it had a bit of a funky smell, but I’m not sure what it should be as we don’t own one.
